WSS NCO/EM VISOR CAP

Manufactured by Marke Odd, a well used mongrel visor cap, having green(Heer) wool cap band, originally attached SS model chinstrap, Assmann SS visor skull with Hicke SS eagle (only one attachment pin) above, cap came to me with a political eagle attached which I have replaced but still include in the sale, the cap has never had any other insignia applied to the cap band other than SS, testified by no piercings or sewing marks through the cap band or interior paste board, the use of converted Heer caps was common place through out the war years, indeed SS-Brigf.Fritz Wittt to name but one individual who wore a Heer cap!
A real character cap, priced at little more than the insgnia!!!
