WSS PANZER OFFICER SIDE HAT WITH PINK SOUTACHE AND FLEMISH INSIGNIA

Awesome piece, typical Normandy SS Panzer Heer style officer cap following refitting in Belgium prior to the Normandy campaign, cap has seen moderate use/wear noticeable to the lower edge especially to the front, insignia is 100% original to the cap and in great condition apart from where the metal ring inside the swastika wreath has worn through the bullion work! No visible markings to the black liner which is complete without damage.
When looking at period photos of WSS panzer officers most opt for the Heer style cap.
