SS-STANDARTENOBERJUNKER BLUE PIPED VISOR CAP

Exceptionally rare colour piped cap, dark blue piping is for the medical branch of service, cap retains matching zinc alloy insignia with most of thier original silver wash, cap band is in perfect black wool, an officer cord is applied and there is no sign of any former NCO strap, indicating it was built as an officer candidate hat, and not a converted NCO, gray wool top is in a medium grade wool with no damage apart from one tiny moth bite, interior of cap is finished in artificial silk roof liner and cotton sides withy only slight soiling size marked 58 only most celluloid panel is minus, ersatz sweat band has some splitting but remains complete and flexible.
