DIPLOMATIC OFFICIALS FIELD GREY VISOR CAP

Rare original specimen!
Finished in a field grey gaberdine wool a little faded to the top, black wool band,piped in silver braid with is lightly oxidised with the bottom row mostly gone, typical moth damage beneath the over hang has been hand stitched to stabilise, along with a couple of other random nips,its original bullion hand embroidered insignia is in excellent condition,artificial silk liner is in excellent condition only remnants of celluloid panel remain, just light to moderate wear,brown leather sweat band is perfect and supple, visor is away a little at each end caused by picking up by the visor.
